The Sensor-on-Chip Analytical Laboratory (SoCAL) focuses on the creation of Next-generation of sensors that can integrate its design and signal with other modules on the chip for the chemical and biological composite identification and quantification in both liquid and gaseous phases. The sensor-on-chip concept and devices assume to be largely applied in the field of environmental remediation as well as diagnostic purposes in the biomedical and hospital settings.

Electrochemistry- Nanomaterials based electrochemical glucose sensor and the solid-state pH sensor

This project originates from my previous work at the University of Connecticut, Professor Yu Lei's lab. In the past, the metal oxides from group 9 prepared by electrospinning and annealing process have been modified to the surface of bulky glassy carbon electrodes and screen-printed electrodes for the artificial glucose measurements and human serum glucose quantification.
