Prof. Yu Cheng Liu presented the recent progress of his Young-NSFC project on real fuel vaporization, corresponding combustion properties and functional group evolution, and strategies to develop appropriate surrogate fuel for the observed behaviors. The presentation was given in the engine spray combustion session of the 5th National Young Scholar Meeting on Combustion Research, held at Xjiao Hotel, Beijing, China, April. 12-14, 2019.
